About Us

Cross Insurance Arena, which is owned by Cumberland County and professionally managed by Oak View Group, is a 6.200 seat arena that opened in 1977 and renovated in 2012.

The Cross Insurance Arena hosts world-class entertainers. Recent artists who have played Cross Insurance Arena include Elton John, Kevin Hart, Alan Jackson and Panic! At the Disco. The arena also hosts family shows, including Disney On Ice, the Harlem Globetrotters, Cirque du Soleil and others. The Cross Insurance Arena also shines a spotlight on the several high school and college graduates that walk across the stage as well home to the ECHL's Maine Mariners, minor league affiliate to the Boston Bruins and the MPA Class AA state championships.
